Peepers Severna Park

Audrey has been working in the optical industry since 1981.  She joined Dr. Tilles in 1985 as an optician and has been managing this office since 1994, when the doors first opened.  This long relationship has allowed her to nurture the office from it's infancy to the wonderful success we enjoy today.  Still, she always strives to continue to adapt to the ever changing demands that her profession requires.  To allow this, Audrey has always understood how important it is to treat each patient as though they were the only patient.  She has always appreciated the need to keep up with the latest technology in lenses, frame design, and the latest equipment needed to provide for the highest quality eyecare possible.

Throughout her 21 year career with Dr. Tilles, Peepers has become a second family to her.  She is often jokingly referred to as Dr. Tilles's second wife and is certain to straighten his tie when it's crooked.  She even watched his son, Dr. Mudd grow up to join the practice and expand the Peepers family.  Besides her dedication to the practice, Audrey enjoys scrap booking, enjoying the beautiful mountain views of her Western Maryland cabin with her husband and doting over her 21 year old son Steven and her 17 nieces and nephews.

Tanya is a true jack of all trades.  Having extensive previous experience in the optical field, Tanya was able to make an immediate impact on our growing office when she joined in 2002.  It's always pleasing to have staff knowledgeable in the various aspects of optometric practice including, but not limited to contact lens fitting, optical sales, dispensing and office administration.  Besides working arm in arm with Audrey, Tanya is our only associate brave enough to tackle the constantly challenging and ever changing world of medical and vision insurance.

As a multi-tasker, Tanya not only assists Audrey in keeping Dr. Tilles presentable, but now must ensure Dr. Mudd is equally as groomed.  Tanya is truly dedicated to the Peepers family with hopes of never leaving.  In an ideal world, Tanya would live with Mickey Mouse, her husband and parents in Boston so she could own season tickets to the Celtics, Red Sox and especially the New England Patriots.  She also enjoys Carribean cruises and is planning her next trip for Bali Bali.

Sean has been with our office for five years and his knowledge has grown exponentially since.  Being remarkably self-motivated, Sean has gained thorough knowledge of every ophthalmic product we offer, laser vision correction, contact lenses and optometric procedures.  Sean is the doctors' "right hand man" as head contact lens technician and optometric assistant.  You will visit him in our pre-testing room as he uses our state of the art equipment to help the doctors give you the most thorough examination possible.

Sean is currently finishing his studies at Anne Arundel Community College and is deciding where to finish his undergraduate degree.  We of course hope he stays local!  After college, Sean aspires to attend optometry school and return to the Peepers family.  In his free time, Sean is an avid bowler.  You may hear him brag about his high score of 300.  He also loves Penn State football and local comedy shows.

Teri has been working in the optical industry since 1980.  She recieved formal training in the Army as an optical laboratory technician, manufacturing glasses for our armed forces.  Since then, she has worked in numerous establishments gaining a lifetime of experience in the field of opticianry.  She has been with Peepers for five years, where she found her home and plans to retire.  Teri is responsible for making your prescription and ensuring the highest quality of eyewear leaves her lab.  Her attention to detial is impeccable.  We at Peepers are thrilled to have her as a permanent associate.

In her free time time, Teri is very active in her church in the ministry of hospitality.  In other words, she is an expert in hugs.  She also has a love affair with arts and crafts.  Most of our staff owns something Teri has created.  You may not see Teri very often, for which she is busy making your glasses.  However, if you bring your dog you'll be sure to see her come out of the lab.

Lindsay has been an associate at Peepers for nearly 2 years.  In this time, she has acquired a wealth of product knowledge.  She chose this field of work due to her strong desire to help people.  You'll recognize Lindsay by her dimples as she smiles to greet you.  Lindsay is an expert in helping every patient select the ideal pair of spectacles for their eyeglass prescription.  She also patiently trains our contact lens patients on insertion and removal.

Lindsay is currently acquiring her degree in business administration.  She is majoring in legal studies and minoring in human resources.  When she is not juggling her school and career, Lindsay is an avid reader and writer of fiction and literature.  She also enjoys listening to music of all kinds with the exception of "music where people scream."  She always makes time for her family and friends, especially her new baby boy.  Congratulations, Lindsay!

Chasity has been an associate at our office for one year, going on ten.  You will immediately become aware of her intelligence and charm by her razor sharp wit and ear-to-ear grin.  She is a junior version of Tanya and is trained in virtually every aspect of optometric practice including optical, reception and contact lens.  She rarely complains with the exception that she wants to learn more.  This is a true barometer of her value to our office.

Chasity spends the majority of her free time with her loving husband and rambunctious toddler boy.  Her free time is especially limited due to her pursuing her undergraduate degree in forensic psychology.  To burn stress, Chasity enjoys yoga and playing soccer.  Her true passion lies in theater and her favorite place is at a Broadway play in Times Square, Manhattan.

Debbie is the newest addition to the Peepers family.  We knew she was a perfect fit as she absorbed new information like a sponge, while constantly maintaining a smile.  She is now well versed in optical products, adjustment, dispensing and repairs.  She has also managed to tackle receptionist duties like a charm.  Encountering new associates of her caliber is a rare occurrence and we hope she is here to stay.

Being our most easy-going associate, Debbie "loves everything." However, she especially enjoys going out dancing with friends.  We certainly hope this is not before a work day!  She is also a huge movie buff, with a diverse taste in movies of all genres.  She has large extended family, who all live nearby and remain very close knit.  So, she has colorful array of loved ones to maintain her free time.
